Vismail
helps boost fundraising campaign results
Goal
One of Canada's leading humantarian charities included vismail
as part of their multi media marketing mix to help raise funds in
support of the Pakistan Earthquake crisis. The vismail went
out to all existing donors with email addresses - the ultimate goal
being to raise funds and awareness as quickly as possible.
eSolution
A compelling vismail message with a one-time gift ask was created
on short notice and within tight timeliens using an existing PSA
and simple .jpeg design.
- 5,823 vismails were sent
- 5,263 vismails (90%) reached the target audience
Results
Overall, the fundraising campaign performed well raising both awareness
and funds in excess of $19,000.
- 2,388 vismails were opened - an open rate of 41%
- There were 126 clicks to the donation form - a primary call
to action rate of 2.4%
- There were 263 clicks to the website - a secondary call to action
rate of 5.2%
- $19,960 was raised from 107 donors - an average gift of $186
